I went through some hard financial times a few months ago. I got behind on my credit card and other loan payments. Without my knowledge or consent my largest accounts was bought by The Midland Credit Management Collection Agency.
The Midland Collection Agency was all over my credit reports. They were reporting negative marks on my credit report as shown below:
$9,509 Midland Collection on My Credit Report
I did some research and found the following info about this collection agency:
Midland Credit Management, Inc. is a subsidiary of the Encore Capital Group. Address:
8875 Aero Drive
San Diego, CA 92123
(858) 560-2600

*they also have an office in Phoenix, Arizona.
What Midland Credit Management Does:
Midland is a debt collection agency. They use collection methods to collect delinquent/overdue debts. Midland primarily collects charged-off credit cards, auto/lease deficiency loans, retail credit, telecom, and other delinquent unsecured debt.
My Experience with Midland Credit Management :
Since I allegedly owed them so much money ($9,000+), Midland was very aggressive. They were totally ruining my credit record. Even though we had an agreement whereby they promised not to report negative information to the credit bureaus, they reported a "Charge-off/Collection" on my credit reports. I wanted to get the negative marks off my credit report!
I was really sick of the bad credit so I decided to sign up with the Lexington Law Firm, a professional credit repair law firm which limits its practice solely to credit repair and deleting negative credit.
Lexington Law started the credit repair process immediately and deleted the Midland Collection in just a few weeks!
Here is the Deletion Letter:
$9,509 Midland Collection Deleted
Lexington Law deleted other negative items including a medical collection item, charge offs, and a legal judgment. Here are some of the other Deletions:
Chase Credit Card Charge Off and Collection Deleted
Three Charge-Offs Deleted
My Score improves every time a negative item is removed. I actually enjoy logging into my account and watching the progress.
My Credit Score is now 676 (just two points below the national average!). Since I signed up with Lexington my score improved from 525 to 676 (151 Points!)
Here is this month's score:
My Current Credit Score
I recommend Lexington Law to anyone battling with collection agencies and bad credit. It is a solid solution for such a stressful situation.
